Library TU Delft

The TU Delft Library is the largest technical-scientific library in the Netherlands and has the task of safeguarding the availability of technical-scientific information for TU Delft and all of the Netherlands. We focus as much as possible on providing digital services and digital, technical-scientific information. The Library performs its services with a strong attention to customer service and quality but also aims higher. Where its responsibilities to the university and the Netherlands are concerned, the Library strives to expand its role to new territory. Our expertise enables us to improve the information and knowledge holdings of the university, contribute to the increase, valorisation and exploitation of the knowledge available, and to make this available to parties outside the university. User surveys are highly valued for the Library’s innovative services.

The TU Delft Library aims to provide a physical and virtual meeting place for education and research at the TU Delft. It supports researchers, students and lecturers through the innovative way in which it provides access to and shares information. The TU Delft Library Research Data Services (RDS) product team is responsible for the acquisition, management, archiving and sharing of scientific research data and manages the 4TU.Centre for Research Data.
